---- — Contest for Topsfield Fair theme underway

Topsfield Fair fans are invited to submit their ideas for this year’s fair theme/slogan. Submissions are being accepted online through March 13.

The grand prize winner will receive a Family 4-Pack of tickets to the fair, and two runners up will each receive two tickets. The fair’s executive board will select the Top 5 finalists before turning the final decision over to the public on their Facebook fan page.

Open house at Eastern Point Day School

Parents, guardians and their children are invited to an open house at Eastern Point Day School, 8 Farrington Avenue, Gloucester, on Friday, March 14, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Topsfield Fair seeking college interns

Topsfield Fair is seeking upperclassmen or graduate college students to become a part of their internship program. With the fair coming in early October, the fair is looking for an intern who can work throughout the summer and fall. Program responsibilities include assisting with social media projects, customer relations, assisting with advertising campaigns, and much more. The program is open to all majors; however, applicants must be articulate, self-motivated and detail-oriented.
