The following items were recorded in the Newburyport police log:

Veronica L. Poirier, 22, 159 Northern Blvd., Newburyport, was issued a summons Wednesday at 12:05 p.m. on a charge of drug/narcotic violation. Officer John Schmidt issued the summons on State Street.

Steven Cornacchio, 34, 168 Whitehall Road, No. 1, Amesbury, was issued a summons Wednesday at 7:50 p.m. on charges of receiving stolen property more than $250, forgery of a check and uttering of a check. Inspector Michael Sugrue issued the summons following an incident on Cherry Street.

Zachary D. Ward, 22, 76 Boxford Road, Rowley, was arrested Wednesday at 10:14 p.m. and charged with possession of a class A substance. Officers Eric Marshall, Joshua Tierney and Michael Wilichoski made the arrest at the Pond Street CVS.

Derek C. Butcher, 41, no fixed address, was arrested Thursday at 5:48 a.m. and charged with a previous warrant. Officers Eric Andrukaitis and Jason Kohan made the arrest on Drew Street.


The following item was recorded in the Salisbury police log:

Paul W. Fowler, 46, no fixed address, Seabrook, was arrested Wednesday at 7:06 p.m. and charged with two previous warrants. Officers Richard Dellaria and Michael Tullercash made the arrest on Main Street.


The following items were recorded in the Rowley police log:

Marie Ann Christ, 55, 143 Haverhill St., Rowley, was issued a summons Wednesday at 10:46 a.m. on charges of operating an unregistered and uninsured motor vehicle, no inspection sticker and a number plate violation to conceal identity. The summons was issued on Haverhill Street.

Carlos Xenier Espinal-Espinal, 23, 7 Read St., No. 1, Salem, was issued a summons Wednesday at 6:20 p.m. on charges of annoying telephone calls and criminal harassment. The summons was issued following an incident on Route 1.
