NEWBURYPORT

The following item was recorded in the Newburyport police log:

Thomas J. Givner, 33, 11 Willow Ave., Newburyport, was issued a summons Tuesday at 12:44 a.m. on charges of possessing an open container of alcohol in the vehicle. Officers Kevin Martin and Michael Sugrue issued the summons on Milk Street.

AMESBURY

The following items were recorded in the Amesbury police log:

Brendon B. Chiou, 35, 3 Lena Meadows Way, Amesbury, was arrested Sunday at 12:05 p.m. and charged with domestic assault and battery. Sgt. Albert Chatigny and officers David Clark, Kevin Ward and Thomas Hanshaw made the arrest on Lena Meadows Way.

Allison Pecora, 23, 83 Market St., Apt. 4, Amesbury, was arrested Tuesday at 12:20 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol (second offense) and a marked lanes violation. Officers Raymond Landry and Denis Champagne Jr. made the arrest on Pond View Ave.

NEWBURY

The following item was recorded in the Newbury police log:

Elizabeth M. Baum, 47, 134 Central St., Rowley, was issued a summons Saturday at 2:50 p.m. on charges of forging/misuse of a Registry of Motor Vehicles signature. Lt. John R. Lucey Jr. and officer Michael Croteau issued the summons on the Newburyport Turnpike.

WEST NEWBURY

The following item was recorded in the West Newbury police log:

Peter Nieber, 44, 72 River Road, Merrimac, was issued a summons Saturday at 5:05 p.m. on charges of leaving the scene of property damage, negligent driving and a marked lanes violation. Officers Barry Coker and Eric Forni issued the summons on River Road.

STATE POLICE

The following items were recorded in the state police log, Newbury barracks:

Irving Cruz, 37, 16 Logan St., Lawrence, was issued a summons Saturday at 1:45 a.m. on charges of negligent driving and a marked lanes violation. Trooper Hickey issued the summons in Haverhill.

Richard Paulino, 19, 101-13 39 Ave St., 1st floor, Corona, N.Y., was arrested Saturday at 3:50 a.m. on a warrant. At the same time, Ramon Paulino, 23, 101-13 39 Ave St., 1st floor, Corona, N.Y., was issued a summons on charges of driving without a license and driving an unregistered vehicle. Trooper Bernstein made the arrest and issued the summons in Boxford.
