NEWBURYPORT

The following item was recorded in the Newburyport police log:

Derek James Cummings, 25, 475 Washington St., was arrested Tuesday at 4:35 p.m. and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon of a person over 60 and malicious destruction of property. Officer Christopher McDonald issued the summons on Bromfield Street.

AMESBURY

The following items were recorded in the Amesbury police log:

Daniel Kane, 28, 29 Glen Devin St., Amesbury, was arrested Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. and charged with a previous warrant. Officers Kevin Ward and Lauren Tirone made the arrest on Glen Devin Street.

Andy Hernandez-Garcia, 21, 65 Jackson St., No. 1, Haverhill, was issued a summons Tuesday at 4:48 p.m. on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Officer Thomas Nichols issued the summons on Macy Street.

Salvador A. Casanova, 22, 3 Macy Terrace, Amesbury, was issued a summons Tuesday at 5:40 p.m. on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and loud/defective equipment. Officers Nichols and Landry issued the summons on Elm Street.

SALISBURY

The following items were recorded in the Salisbury police log:

James Thornton, 41, 138 Central Ave., No. 1, Salisbury, was arrested Tuesday at 6:10 p.m. and charged with a previous warrant. The arrest was made on Central Avenue.

Angela Marie Fecteau, 32, 122 Temple St., Saco, Maine, was arrested Tuesday at 11:47 p.m. and charged with a previous warrant. Officer Szymkowski made the arrest on Bridge Road.

SEABROOK

The following items were recorded in the Seabrook police log:

Christopher O. Azoury, 20, 2 Elephant Rock Road, Seabrook, was arrested Tuesday 9:18 a.m. and charged with inhaling toxic vapors for effect. Adam Laurent and Frank Brown Jr. made the arrest on Walmart, Route 1.

Linda M. Lockhart, 47, 38 Central Ave., No. 2, Salisbury, was arrested Tuesday at 5:22 p.m. and charged with having an open container of alcohol in vehicle. Officer Laurent made the arrest on Route 286.
