Merrimac to begin hydrant flushing Oct. 3

The Merrimac Water Department will tentatively begin flushing hydrants on Thursday, Oct 3. Flushing will continue through Tuesday, Oct. 22 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Residents are advised that there may be discoloration of the water and low water pressure during this time. A schedule of areas to be flushed will be posted at the water department’s office each day.
