'Business and Breakfast' session Nov. 13

NEWBURYPORT — Professor Barry Bluestone, the founder of the Kitty and Michael Dukakis Center for Urban and Regional Policy at Northeastern University, will be the featured speaker at the Greater Newburyport Chamber of Commerce November Business & Breakfast series on Wednesday, Nov. 13.

The November program entitled “‘Staying Power II’ — Manufacturing IS alive and well in the Commonwealth, the region and Newburyport,” will feature a discussion on the state of manufacturing in Massachusetts and Newburyport.

The breakfast is scheduled from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at Arwood Machine Corporation, 95 Parker St. A continental breakfast will be served.

The November Business & Breakfast Series is sponsored by Arwood Machine Corporation. Reservations are required. Admission is $25 for the general public and $15 for Chamber members. To reserve a seat, call the Chamber office at 978-462-6680.
