HOMESCHOOL FIELD TRIP: BIRDS ON THE BEACH

NATURE ART CLASS: SEEDS TRAVEL and NATURE’S TIE DYE

Notice the beauty in nature and make it come to life with teacher, Jan Morris. Participants will learn about how natural dyes are made and create tie-dyed tea towels. While towels dry, explore seed travel and talk about how plants get ready for winter. For children ages 6 to 10. Materials are provided. Parents are welcome but not required to stay. PARENT/CHILD WALKABOUT: RUN, GATHER & HIDE AT MAUDSLAY STATE PARK

Come outside with Lisa Hutchings to explore the ecology, sights, and sounds of the local habitats and look for critters at Maudslay State Park. A fun, energetic format for families with children ages 3 to 6. The fee covers one adult and one child.

INTERMEDIATE DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP

Mass Audubon’s Camp Wildwood Director Bob Speare leads this workshop and field trip. Bring a camera and learn the use of advanced features to enjoy stronger images.
