NEWBURYPORT: The following jury-waived trials were recorded Wednesday, April 2, at Newburyport District Court with Judge Peter Doyle presiding:

Jeffrey S. Benevento, 42, 31 Macy Terrace, Amesbury; assault and battery (two counts), one year pretrial probation, $50 Victim-Witness Fund, no abuse of victim (Amesbury).

Jose Garcia, 49, 34 Hudson Ave., Lawrence; juror fail to attend, dismissed (Office of the Jury Commissioner).

Derek C. Boutcher, 41, 22 Drew St., Newburyport; operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license due to OUI, guilty, 60 days in house of correction, 13 days deemed served; crosswalk violation, responsible, filed; registration not in possession, not responsible; number plate violation to conceal ID, dismissed (Newburyport).

Linelle Loveridge, 43, 262 East Haverhill St., Lawrence; operating an uninsured motor vehicle, dismissed upon payment of $150 court costs; operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, dismissed; no inspection sticker, not responsible (Salisbury).

NEWBURYPORT: The following jury-waived trials were recorded Thursday, April 3, at Newburyport District Court with Judge Mary McCabe presiding:

Oscar R. Vallero, 44, 178 Bryant St., Malden; permitting unlicensed/suspended operation of a motor vehicle, dismissed upon payment of $200 court costs; no inspection sticker, not responsible (Salisbury).

Roberto Palomino, 38, 1012 North Shore Road, Revere; unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, responsible, filed, $100 assessment (Salisbury).

Trevor Eaton, 26, 37 Grove St., Haverhill; driving while under the influence of alcohol, continued without finding for a year, complete alcohol safety awareness program, 45-day loss of license, $250 OUI fee, $50 OUI Victims Fund, $250 Head Injury Fund, $50 VWF, complete half-day Brains at Risk course (Salisbury).
