Palm Sunday: 10:30 a.m., children are welcome to participate in the procession of palms. The service will include fair trade palms.
Maundy Thursday: 6 p.m., a simple bread and soup supper, followed by a Tenebrae service and communion at 7 p.m. The Tenebrae service recalls the meal Jesus shared with his followers before his arrest and betrayal.
Good Friday: Noon, prayer service to remember Jesus’ passion.
Easter Sunday: two worship services at 9 and 11 a.m. A quartet of professional brass players will help proclaim the joy of Easter. During the services there will be music for choir, organ and brass. A flowering of the cross will take place at the 9 a.m. service and the Youth Choir will sing at the 11 a.m. service.
First Parish Church of Newbury, 20 High Road (Route 1A)
Palm Sunday: 9:30 a.m., gather on the Newbury Green for Palm Sunday procession to the church building. Followed by session two of “All Around Easter” for children from 9:45 to 11. Worship begins at 10.
Maundy Thursday: 6 p.m., potluck dinner, followed by Tenebrae service with Communion. Tenebrae service begins at 7.
Easter: 10 a.m., Easter worship for all ages at 10 am.

Palm Sunday: Two identical worship services at 9 and 10:30 a.m.
Good Friday: Service at 7 p.m. to reflect on the “Seven Last Words of Christ.”
Easter Sunday: Worship at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. to celebrate Jesus’ resurrection.

Holy Thursday: 7:30 p.m., Evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper
Good Friday: 3 p.m., Stations of the Cross; 7:30 p.m., Solemn Celebration of the Lord’s Passion. No Eucharistic Adoration on Good Friday.
