Holy Week services at area churches

(Continued)

Easter Sunday: Easter Sunrise Service at 6 a.m. at the Harbormaster’s Shack, with Pancake Breakfast at 7 a.m. back at Old South; Easter Service at 10:30 a.m.

St. James Episcopal Church, 120 Main St., Amesbury

Palm Sunday: 10 a.m., Holy Eucharist with the dramatic reading of the Passion Narrative.

Monday: 5 p.m. in the Chancel, the Stations of the Cross will be read.

Tuesday: 8 a.m. in the Chancel, the Stations of the Cross will be read.

Maundy Thursday: 7 p.m., Holy Eucharist with the Foot Washing Ceremony.

Good Friday: Sanctuary will be open from noon to 3 p.m. with reflections and readings offered on the half-hour from noon until 2:30 p.m. The Way of the Cross will be prayed at 2:30 p.m. At 7 p.m., the Prayer Book Liturgy for Good Friday will be read.

Easter Sunday: Festival Eucharist at 10 a.m.

St. Paul’s Church, 66 High St., Newburyport

Palm Sunday: 8 and 10:15 a.m., Holy Eucharist; 9:45 a.m., Blessing of the Palms for Children.

Maundy Thursday: 6:30 p.m., Simple Soup and Bread Supper (Parish Hall); 7:30 p.m.,Holy Eucharist with foot washing followed by night watch.

Good Friday: 9 a.m., Holy Eucharist; 7:30 p.m., Good Friday service

Easter Eve: 7 p.m., Easter Vigil in LMV Collaborative, host, Trinity Church, Haverhill, 26 White St., Haverhill.
