Introduction to Easter worship for children, families
Would you like the children in your life to know what Easter is really about? First Parish Church of Newbury, 20 High Road, Route 1A, is offering “All Around Easter,” a two-part introduction for children and families. Children, grades 1-5 will participate with a small group, moving from skit to skit. There will be hands-on activities, music and video. Adults may join their kids in the fellowship hall for “All Around Easter” or attend worship upstairs in the sanctuary. Times: 9:45 a.m. to 11 a.m. tomorrow and again April 13. Lenten services at Immaculate Conception Parish
Eucharistic Adoration in St. James Chapel: During Lent the Friday time of Eucharistic Adoration will conclude at 11:30 a.m. because of the 12:05 Liturgy.
Stations of the Cross: Friday evenings at 7 in the church. Many parishioners remember the Stations of the Cross as a regular part of Lenten Devotions. Join us as we meditate on the Passion and Death of Jesus in prayer and simple song.
Liturgy: During Lent there will be two daily liturgies Monday through Friday: 7:15 a.m. and 12:05 p.m.
‘Light Is on for You’: Wednesday evenings, confessions will be offered from 6:30-8 p.m. in addition to the Saturday times.
