Currier & Associates hire two junior designers
Kelsey Clark and Benjamin Meyers, two new junior designers on the design team at the interior design firm, Currier & Associates, Inc., on Merrimac Street in Newburyport, will add their talent and expertise to the company’s design projects.
Meyers joined Currier joined in February. Most recently with Robert A.M. Stern Interiors in New York City, Meyers, was involved with high-end residential and hospitality projects. He is a graduate of Rhode Island School of Design, also attended Brown University and Massachusetts College of Art.
Clark graduates from Endicott College in interior design and is currently working on her senior thesis. She started her career with Currier in June 2013 as a design assistant and intern.
As a junior designer for Currier, she is involved in programming, schematics, design development, construction documents and installations for major projects such as Avita Newburyport, Meridian Bayshore in New Jersey, Cornerstone at Milford and Resident Continuum Care at Ashland.
Brass Lyon recognized
The Brass Lyon in Newburyport has been recognized by Chelsea Clock as one of its top 25 retailers in 2013 based on sales and overall customer satisfaction.
Russell joins COCO+CO.
Carolyn R. Russell of West Newbury joined COCO+CO. in March as senior strategy planner.
Russell is a media specialist with a history of originating powerfully engaging, entertaining and persuasive communications. Her responsibilities at COCO+CO. include copywriting, creating press releases, researching and developing branding strategies and implementing marketing plans.
“The world of marketing has greatly in recent years with more consumer media choices and greater fragmentation of the media. Carolyn has mastered the skills necessary for COCO+CO. clients to succeed,” said COCO+CO. President and CEO Tim Coco.
Russell began her career in academia, teaching communication courses to high school students. After attending graduate school at Chapman University in California and obtaining her master’s in film, she served as adjunct professor, teaching film aesthetics and film history. In addition to other works, Russell is the author of “The Films of Joel and Ethan Coen,” published by McFarland & Company in 2001.
