New programs at Amesbury Library

---- — AMESBURY — In May, a new storytime program will be held at the Amesbury Public Library.

On Fridays at 10:30 a.m., from May 2 through May 13, Storytime Nibbles will welcome 2- to 6-year-olds and their caregivers to enjoy some spring themes with books, a few song and activities and a short craft. Registration is not required.

Bring the whole family on May 7 at 6 p.m. for “A Visit with Eagle Bear,” who will share stories, songs and dance of the native peoples of the Southwest as well as local Massachusetts tribes.

Young crafters aged 9 to 12 can create their own special cloth lunch pouch at the May Tween Craft on May 7 at 1:30 p.m. Registration is required.

Visit the library website or pick up a brochure to see more events including Mother Goose on the Loose Babytime, Preschool Creative Movement, Imajine That collaborative programs, Science Club, Lego Club and other activities.
