Italian-themed dinner a fundraiser for Doughboy, memorial restorations



The Amesbury Downtown Business Association will be holding a Shop Hop on Saturday, May 10. A doll carriage-, bike- or wagon-decorating contest will be held for kids in the Upper Millyard, while a drawing for a $500 gift basket will also be held for the adults. Customers will receive tickets with each $10 purchase to enter the drawing.


The following meetings have been scheduled for this week and are open to the public:


School Committee Meeting AHS Library, 7 p.m.

Ordinance Committee Meeting, City Hall, 7 p.m.


Amesbury Academy Charter Public School Board Meeting, Amesbury Academy, 6:30 p.m.
