NEWBURYPORT

The following items were recorded in the Newburyport police log:

Hector Roman, 30, 187 Park St., Lawrence, was issued a summons Friday at 1:41 p.m. on a charge of violating an abuse prevention order. Officer Keith Carter issued the summons at the Newburyport police station on Green Street.

Nicole Chiaramonte, 33, 141 Beach Road, Salisbury, was arrested Saturday at 1:56 p.m. and charged with shoplifting (third offense). Officer John Schmidt made the arrest at Pennyworth’s off Storey Avenue.

AMESBURY

The following items were recorded in the Amesbury police log:

Kevin P. Donohue, 43, 18 Church St., rear, Merrimac, was arrested Saturday at 5:01 p.m. and charged with violating an abuse prevention order. Officer Kevin Mulrenin made the arrest on Henry Street.

Acara Papale, 26, 6 King Road, Charlton, was issued a summons Saturday at 7:42 p.m. on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a revoked registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Officer Thomas Nichols issued the summons on Interstate 495, southbound exitway.

Leonardo Colon Ortiz, 38, no fixed address, Lawrence, was issued a summons Saturday at 11:17 p.m. on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Officers Jonathan Morrill and Nichols issued the summons on Interstate 495, southbound exitway.

SALISBURY

The following items were recorded in the Salisbury police log:

Essam Ali, 49, 69 Cable Ave., Salisbury, was arrested Friday at 10:36 p.m. and charged with domestic assault and battery. Officers Patrick Szymkowski, Mark Thomas and Sgt. Timothy Hunter made the arrest on Cable Avenue.

Robert J. Medeiros, 27, 14A Churchhill Drive, Templeton, was issued a summons Saturday at 12:28 a.m. on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Officer Neil Moody issued the summons on Beach Road.

Daniel J. Hoover, 48, 40 Williams St., Waltham, was arrested Saturday at 6:55 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and fail to use care when backing. Officer James Pollard and Sgt. Hunter made the arrest on CCC Road.
