NEWBURYPORT - The following jury-waived trials were recorded Sept. 25 at the Newburyport District Court, with Judge Peter Doyle presiding:

Michael Byrne, 53, 125 East Main St., Kings Park, N.Y.; OUI, fourth offense, guilty plea, two years in house of correction, one year to be served, one year suspended, six days of credit for time served, $50 Victim/Witness Fund assessment, fine $1,500, $250 Head Injury Fund assessment, costs $375 (Amesbury).

Wesley Markewicz, 30, 8 Meadow Ave., Merrimac, assault and battery (domestic), pretrial probation for six months, no abuse of victim (Merrimac).

Melinda Pallotta, 35, 14 Arch St., Keene, N.H.; assault and battery, domestic, admission to facts, continued without finding for 11 months, $50 VWF, no abuse of victim (Newburyport).

Elisabeth Collins, 18, 18 Winter St., Amesbury; operating motor vehicle with suspended license, pretrial probation for three months, $50 VWF (Amesbury).

Lori Porcaro, 48, 50 Forest Road, Salisbury; OUI, continued without finding for 18 months, loss of license for 60 days, attendance in alcohol safety program, $50 VWF, $250 OUI, $50 OUI-V, $250 HIF (Salisbury).

The following jury-waived trials were recorded Sept. 26 at Newburyport District Court, with Judge Allen Swan presiding:

Paul Carr, 40, 10 Washington St., Ipswich; leaving the scene of property damage, $50 VWF (Rowley).

Michael Hawkins, 33, 13 Seabrook Road, Salisbury; resisting arrest, pretrial probation, 90 days; operating motor vehicle with suspended license, 90 days in house of correction, sentence suspended for one year (Salisbury).

NEWBURYPORT: The following cases were recorded at Newburyport District Court on Wednesday, Sept. 26, with Judge Allen Swan presiding over the jury-waived trials:

Robert A. Melanson, 53, 591 North End Blvd., Salisbury; driving while under the influence of alcohol, not prosecuted; driving after license revocation, not prosecuted; marked lanes violation, not prosecuted (Salisbury).

Dylan Svenson, 19, 32 Oakwood Ave., Billerica; uninsured vehicle, continued for three months; driving after registration suspension, continued for three months; unregistered vehicle, not responsible (State Police).

Stephanie Capone, 28, 593 South Main St., Apt. 2, Bradford; negligent driving, continued without finding and probation for one year conditioned upon completion of the State Courts Against Road Rage and half-day Brains At Risk programs, $50 VWF, $250 OUI, $50 OUI-V, $250 HIF; speeding, responsible, $200 assessment (State Police).
