James F. Arnold, 31, 16 Woodman Way, No. 4, Newburyport; operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license (subsequent offense), 60 days in house of correction, sentence suspended one year, $50 VWF; operating an unregistered motor vehicle, responsible, $500 fine (West Newbury).


The following jury-waived trial was recorded Friday, Sept. 28, at Newburyport District Court with Judge Allen Swan presiding:

Micah J. Twombly, 25, 1 Short St., Amesbury; driving while under the influence of drugs, continued without finding for one year, complete Alcohol Safety Awareness Program, 55-day loss of license, $250 OUI fee, $50 OUI-V, $250 HIF, $50 VWF; negligent operation of a motor vehicle, dismissed; marked lanes, responsible, filed (Rowley).
