Scouting for Food pickup Saturday

AMESBURY — Local Scouts from Pack 4 along with Troop 4 will be returning to neighborhoods on Saturday, starting at 8 a.m., to collect the Scouting for Food bags they distributed last weekend.

The Scouts are hoping the drive will help families who have been hit by the tough economic climate as winter approaches.

They are asking for residents to fill the bags with food and personal care items that will then be taken to Our Neighbors’ Table in Amesbury and sorted, boxed and delivered to those in need in the community.
