Lyme cases increasing quickly

Ticks like places that are warm and moist, most commonly the backs of the knees, armpits, groin, scalp, back of the neck and behind the ears. Ticks attached to the body should be removed as soon as possible using fine-point tweezers.

Pet owners need to be cautious, for pets not only can get Lyme disease, but also carry infected ticks indoors where they can then spread the illness to their owners.
