Hunting Committee meeting canceled

WEST NEWBURY — A meeting of the newly formed Hunting Committee that was tentatively scheduled for today and then moved to tomorrow has been canceled due to lack of quorum, Selectman Glenn Kemper reported at a brief board meeting Wednesday night.

Selectmen agreed to add a discussion on the possible need to revamp the committee in light of rumors that some members may not be able to continue serving on the five-person committee. The topic will be added to the Feb. 6 selectmen’s meeting.
