NEWBURYPORT: The following cases were recorded at Newburyport District Court on Tuesday, Jan. 29, with Judge Allen Swan presiding over the jury-waived trials:

David A. Smothermon, 56, 60 Railroad Ave., Salisbury; unlicensed driving, continued for two months, $50 Victim-Witness Fund (Salisbury).

Donna A. Lingley, 56, 1000B Spring Valley, Andover; unlicensed driving, responsible, $100 assessment (Amesbury).

Nicole M. Hussey, 26, 20 Caitlin Lane, Seabrook; unlicensed driving, dismissed; speeding in violation of special regulations, responsible, filed (Salisbury).

Christopher French, 30, 9 Green St., Apt. 5, Amesbury; assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (cellphone), dismissed without prejudice; witness intimidation, dismissed without prejudice (Amesbury).

Dean T. Dumais, 49, 31 Orchard St., Merrimac; driving while under the influence of alcohol (second offense), guilty, one year in the house of correction, 21 days to be served and the balance suspended with two years probation conditioned upon completion of a 14-day inpatient substance abuse treatment program with all recommended aftercare, the use of an electronic monitoring device and sobrietor for six months upon being released from custody, remaining drug and alcohol free, two-year loss of license, $600 fine, $150 surfine, $250 Head Injury Fund assessment, $50 Operating Under Intoxication Victim Fund assessment, $50 VWF; negligent driving, guilty, $250 HIF; marked lanes violation, responsible, filed; no inspection sticker, not responsible (Merrimac).

Dustin Paurowski, 28, 6 Carriage Hill Road, Apt. 7, Amesbury; resisting arrest, guilty, 27 days in the house of correction, deemed served; disorderly conduct, guilty, filed (Amesbury).

Dawna Godfrey, 46, 470 Main St., Haverhill; uninsured vehicle, dismissed; driving after registration suspension, dismissed (Amesbury).

NEWBURYPORT: The following cases were recorded at Newburyport District Court on Wednesday, Jan. 30, with Judge Allen Swan presiding over the jury-waived trials:

Alexander Berube, 24, 12 Lincoln Road, Newton, N.H.; possession of class E drugs (Adderall), dismissed; distribution of class B drugs (Alprazolam), dismissed; unlicensed driving, continued for two months, $50 VWF; taking a number plate, continued for two months; number plate violation, continued for two months; unregistered vehicle, not responsible (Merrimac).
