NEWBURYPORT: The following cases were recorded in Newburyport District Court on Monday, Sept. 23 with Judge Allen Swan presiding over the jury-waived trials.

Cheyle A. Callahan, 48, 12 Highland Ave., Somerville; assault and battery, dismissed (Salisbury).

Essam Ali, 50, 63 Cable Ave., Salisbury; domestic assault and battery, pretrial probation and the case continued generally for six months (Salisbury).

Derek A. Brooks, 26, 37 Torre St., Reading; driving while under the influence of alcohol, continued without finding and probation for one year conditioned upon completion of the alcohol safety awareness program, 60-day loss of license, $50 VWF, $250 OUI fee, $50 OUI Victims Fund, $250 HIF; negligent driving, continued without finding and probation for one year, $200 court cost and $250 HIF; marked lane violation, responsible, filed; possession of an open container of alcohol in a vehicle, responsible, filed (Salisbury).

Patrick W. Donnelly, 24, 2 Smith St., Newbury; breaking and entering a dwelling at night for a felony, dismissed without prejudice (Newbury).

Lee R. Stewart, Jr., 48, 19 Folly Mill Road, Salisbury; negligent driving, guilty, six months in the house of correction, suspended with two years probation conditioned upon completion of the half day Brains At Risk and State Court Against Road Rage programs, $250 HIF, $50 VWF; fail to stop for police, guilty, $100 fine, $25 surfine; speeding, responsible, $100 assessment (Salisbury).

Christopher M. Delande, 26, 1 Patriot Lane, Georgetown; driving while under the influence of alcohol, continued without finding and probation for one year conditioned upon completion of the alcohol safety awareness program, 60-day loss of license, $50 VWF, $250 OUI, $50 OUI Victims Fund, $250 HIF; marked lane violation, not responsible (Newbury).

Linda Dipersio, 53, 19 Middle Road, Amesbury; domestic assault and battery, pretrial probation and the case continued generally for six months conditioned upon no abuse of the victim (Amesbury).

NEWBURYPORT: The following cases were recorded at Newburyport District Court on Tuesday, Sept. 24, with Judge Peter Doyle presiding over the jury-waived trials.

Kyle J. O’Rourke, 18, 4 Tallyshire Road, Groveland; possession of alcohol by a person under the age of 21, continued without finding and probation for six months conditioned upon remaining drug and alcohol free and taking part in substance abuse counseling, $50 VWF (Newburyport).

Michael Harrison, 39, 24 Batchelder Road, Apt. B11-B3, Seabrook; assault, dismissed; threat to commit crime, pretrial probation and the case continued generally for six months conditioned upon no abuse of victim (Salisbury).
