Water ban lifted in West Newbury

WEST NEWBURY — A voluntary water restriction, instituted by the Board of Water Commissioners on July 20 was lifted yesterday.

The Water Commissioners remind residents that any type of landscaping next year should be completed by June in case a water ban needs to be implemented over the summer.

They also ask homeowners to be mindful of any leaks or running water, inside and outside their houses.

Running toilets and leaking hoses are two common areas of major water loss.
