This Day in History

On this day in 1776, the Honorable Council of the Province of Massachusetts Bay commissioned the privateer brigantine, the Dalton, owned by Tristram Dalton and Stephen Hooper. The ship was armed with 22 guns and 20 swivels and carried a crew of 120 men.
