Library to host workshop on Affordable Care Act

SEABROOK — The Seabrook Public Library will host a workshop at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 23 to help residents learn more about the health insurance options under the nation’s Affordable Care Act in New Hampshire.

Just about everyone has questions about how the changes will affect them personally, whether they have health insurance or not, or are covered by Medicare. This one-hour educational session will provide an overview of the Health Insurance Marketplace: who is eligible, how they enroll, tax credits and options for those with limited incomes.

There’s a lot to learn about the new Health Insurance Marketplace. And it can be difficult to figure out the impact it can have on individuals and families. This AARP-led program will help residents learn about coverage that’s available from the new Health Insurance Marketplace.

This event is free and open to the public.
