Schedule of meetings

WEST NEWBURY — The Pentucket School Committee has set the following subcommittee schedule for the next two months:

5-6 p.m., Human Resources

6-7 p.m., Teaching, Learning, & Accountability

7-8 p.m., Policy

8-9 p.m., Business, Finance & Operations

The Human Resources Subcommittee will cover issues pertaining to personnel and the superintendent’s evaluation.

The Teaching, Learning, and Accountability Subcommittee considers matters related to: curriculum, instruction and assessment; the delivery of intellectual, social-emotional, wellness and technology supports to students; and the results generated in alignment with a world-class educational system.

The Business, Finance, and Operations Subcommittee deals with items related the district’s financial, capital and operational planning/development/deployment and contractual relationships with the contributing towns.

The Policy Subcommittee reviews and updates district policies and agreements.

A specific agenda for each subcommittee meeting as well as one for the monthly business meeting are posted on the district’s website at www.prsd.org under the School Committee link.

The subcommittees meet on the first Tuesday of the month in the superintendent’s conference room at the middle school. Upcoming subcommittee meetings are on Nov. 6 and Dec. 4.

Business meetings held at the high school are at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 16, Nov. 20 and Dec. 18.

All meetings are open to the public, but only business meetings will be videotaped.
