Boys and Girls Club dancers perform Friday

SALISBURY — The Boys and Girls Club dance troupe performs its Christmas Cabaret at the Club at 6 p.m. on Friday.

Known as the Believers Dance Troupe, club members have worked since September practicing twice a week for Friday’s performance, under the tutelage of dance director Samantha Stanton.

The Cabaret takes place at the Boys and Girls Club, located on Maple Street in Salisbury and the performance is open to the public. Refreshments will be served at intermission and raffle prize winners drawn.

The club will also host Parents Day Out on Saturday, on Dec. 7, which allows parents a day to themselves to shop and get ready for the upcoming holiday. Running from noon to 7 p.m. on Saturday, it offers a wide variety of activities, refreshments and a pasta dinner for kids at 5:30 p.m.

The cost is $20 for first child, $10 for each additional child, not to exceed $40 per family.
