Pie-baking contest at library's Fall Festival

NEWBURY — The Friends of the Newbury Town Library are sponsoring a free Fall Festival promising fun for all on Saturday, Oct. 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Newbury Town Library, 0 Lunt St.

Festival activities will include a book sale featuring new-to-you reading material, pie-baking contest, ribbon cutting for a Homeschool Resource Room and new staff introductions.

The ribbon cutting for the Homeschool Resource Room will start the day at 10 a.m., followed by the pie contest at noon. Staff introductions will be made at 1 p.m. The book sale will go throughout the day.
