Police Logs

AMESBURY

The following items were recorded in the Amesbury police log:

Marcelio Saramela, 41, 161 Liberty St., Middleton, was arrested Tuesday at 5:06 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, attaching number plates to conceal identity, operating an unregistered motor vehicle and operating an unregistered motor vehicle. Officers Raymond Landry, Steven Reed and Craig Lesage made the arrest in Market Square following a motor vehicle accident.

Matthew K. Billings, 28, 226 High St., No. 2, Newburyport, was issued a summons Tuesday at 10:09 p.m. on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a revoked registration. Officers Reed and Lesage issued the summons on Pond Street.

SALISBURY

The following item was recorded in the Salisbury police log:

Corey Parker, 24, 5 Winter St., Merrimac, was issued a summons Tuesday at 3:50 p.m. on charges of malicious destruction of property less than $250, assault with a dangerous weapon, disturbing the peace and two counts of threatening to commit murder. Officer Patrick Szymkowski issued the summons following an incident on Ocean Street.

NEWBURY

The following item was recorded in the Newbury police log:

Dennis Hamel, 24, 22 Longfellow Road, Wenham, was arrested Wednesday at 10:15 a.m. and charged with a previous warrant. Detective Aaron Wojtkowski made the arrest on Route 1.

STATE POLICE

The following items were recorded at the Newbury barracks:

Sarah C. Farmer-Williams, 29, 1024 Bellingham Ave., No. 306, Malden, was arrested Tuesday at 4:40 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, malicious destruction of property more than $250, two counts of vandalizing property and marked lanes. Trooper Sullivan made the arrest in Newburyport.

Daniel P. Bourgeois Jr., 54, 62 Lowell St., Haverhill, was arrested Tuesday at 7:25 a.m. and charged with a previous warrant, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license (subsequent offense) and operator failing to identify self to police. Trooper Provost made the arrest in Salisbury.
