Bridge repairs to slow traffic

Bridge repairs to the Route 101 bridge over the N.H. Railroad in Hampton will begin on Monday and continue for the next two months, slowing traffic on that portion of the state highway.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation issued an alert that traffic will be limited to a single lane westbound over the Route 101 bridge. Eastbound traffic on Route 101 will be detoured to Route 1 south, then back up to Route 101 after the bridge.

Motorists are asked to use caution when proceeding through this work zone.
