Local students graduate from Governor's Academy

BYFIELD — A number of local students graduated from The Governor's Academy during their commencement ceremony held on Sunday, May 29.

Recent graduates include:

Eliza Bradley, the daughter of Fontaine and Kate Bradley of Byfield. Bradley graduated cum laude and won the Thespian Prize.

John Ceglarski, the son of Babe and Cathy Ceglarski of Byfield.

Austin Dubus, the son of Andre and Fontaine Dubus of Newbury.

Thatcher Furnald, the son of Clint and Kim Furnald of South Hampton.

Jeremy Gold, the son of Jeff and Karen Gold of Byfield. Gold won the Moody Kent Prize for music.

Alexandra Grenier, the daughter of Tamara Grenier and Bart Grenier of Newburyport. Grenier won the Barriskill Prize.

Carolyn Hoffman, the daughter of Michael and Marie Hoffman of West Newbury.

Ryan Kelly, the son of Art and Kathy Kelly of Merrimac. Kelly won a Dodge Special Prize.

Kathleen Leary, the daughter of Peter and Betsy Leary of Seabrook. Leary won the Anne Marie Murphy Athletic Award.

Kelsey Melanson, the daughter of Leo and Karen Melanson of Newburyport.

Thaddeus Pinakiewicz, the son of Bill and Diane Pinakiewicz of Newburyport.

Christopher Russell, the son of Larry and Karen Russell of Newburyport. Russell won the Peter Marshall French Trophy.

Eloise Willemsen, the daughter of Andy Willemsen and Karen Kuhlthau of Newburyport. Willemsen graduated cum laude.

Taylor York, the daughter of William and Eileen York of Newbury.
