Police Logs

NEWBURYPORT

The following items were recorded in the Newburyport police log:

Blake Thomas Tolman, 17, 51 Temple St, Newburyport; Jean-Paul Metivier, 17, 120 Bridge Road, Salisbury; were issued summonses Sunday at 6:07 p.m. on a drug/narcotic violation charge. Officers Joshua Tierney and Shawn Eaton issued the summonses on High Street.

Marcus Nunes, 32, 9 Collins St., Newburyport, was arrested Sunday at 10:58 p.m. and charged with a previous warrant. Sgt. William Steeves made the arrest on Merrimac Street.

AMESBURY

The following items were recorded in the Amesbury police log:

John Gatti, 55, 17 Witch Road, Plaistow, N.H. was issued a summons Sunday at 3:32 p.m. on charges of driving while under the influence of alcohol and marked lanes. Officers Kevin Ward, Thomas Hanshaw and Sgt. Al Chatigny issued the summons following a motor vehicle crash on Lions Mouth Road near Woodsom Farm.

Michael Ortu, 25, 153 Elm St., Amesbury, was arrested Monday at 12:58 a.m. and charged with possession of a class A substance to distribute and possession of a class B substance. Officers David Noyes, Thomas Nichols and Matthew Cunningham made the arrest on Elm Street following a motor vehicle stop.

SALISBURY

The following item was recorded in the Salisbury police log:

Troy Winning, 27, 3 Laperle Ave,. Plaistow, N.H. was arrested Sunday at 11:46 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, a previous warrant and a number plate violation. Officer Patrick Szymkowski made the arrest on Elm Street.

GEORGETOWN

The following items were recorded in the Georgetown police log:

Thomas Joseph Mercier, 46, 9 Walker Road, No. 12, North Andover, was arrested Saturday at 1:37 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol (second offense), marked lanes and speeding in violation of special regulations. Officer Derek Jones made the arrest on West Main Street.

The following people were arrested Saturday at 2 a.m. and charged with minor in possession of alcohol: Anthony Munroe, 18, 100 Daniel St., Malden; Martin Cruz, 19, 70 Summer St., Salem; Kevin Dias, 18, 127 Elwell St., Malden; Casandra Brown, 20, 76 Tudor St., Chelsea; Sophearoeum Chen, 20, 35 Milton St., Lawrence; and Camila Silva, 246 Broadway, No. 5, Malden. Munroe was also charged with possession of a class D substance to distribute. Dias was also charged with speeding in violation of special regulations. Officer Scott Hatch made the arrests following a traffic stop on East Main Street:

ROWLEY

The following items were recorded in the Rowley police log:

Ken Donnelly, 20, 5 Soffron Lane, No. 2, Ipswich, was arrested Sunday at 2:41 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol. The arrest was made on Haverhill Street.

Courtney A. Lemire, 25, 803 Haverhill St., Apt. C6, Rowley, was issued a summons Sunday at 1:49 p.m. on charges of operating a motor vehicle with revoked registration and uninsured motor vehicle. The summons was issued on Haverhill Street.

MERRIMAC

The following items were recorded in the Merrimac police log:

Jeremy Chadwick, 31, 100 Whitehall Road, Amesbury, was arrested Saturday at 2 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol (second offense) and marked lanes. Officer Stephen Ringuette made the arrest on Broad Street.

Lawrence Smith, 57, 11 First Ave., Merrimac. was arrested Saturday at 7:33 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol. Officers Geoffrey Boisvert and Stephen Beaulieu made the arrest on Merrimac Avenue.

Jean Talbot, 57, 14 Lisa Ave., Raymond, N.H. was arrested Sunday at 1:22 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and marked lanes. Officer Ringuette and Sgt. David Vance made the arrest on East Main Street.

Eric Fay, 35, 5 Old Bear Road, Merrimac, was issued a summons Sunday at 6:30 p.m. on charges of negligent operation of a motor vehicle and speeding. The summons was issued by officer Boisvert after Fay exited the East Main Street police station parking lot.

Mark Judson, 55, 2 Clement Court, Haverhill, was issued a summons Monday at 2:30 p.m. on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a revoked registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Officer Robert Copolla issued the summons in Merrimac Square.

STATE POLICE

The following item was recorded at the Newbury barracks:

Adam J. Haeselin, 29, 9 Durham Court, Northport, N.Y. was issued a summons Sunday at 8 p.m. on charges of heroin possession, unlawful possession of fireworks, a civil marijuana offense and fail to take care in starting/stopping/turning/backing. Trooper LaVita issued the summons in Amesbury.
