NEWBURYPORT: The following cases were recorded at Newburyport District Court on Tuesday, Jan. 15, with Judge Peter Doyle presiding over the jury trials.

Scott Bortle, 41, 45 Ashland St., Newburyport; unlicensed operation of motor vehicle, pretrial probation until March 15, $50 Victim/Witness Fund assessment (Newburyport).

James Richards Jr., 17, 56 Baker Road, Salisbury; negligent operation of motor vehicle, failure to stop for police, admission to facts, continued without finding until July 15; $50 VWF, $200 fine (Salisbury).

David MacDonald, 45, 25 Temple St., Newburyport; trespassing, guilty plea, 30 days in house of correction, suspended until July 15, $50 VWF (Newburyport).

Hugo Belo, 31, 7 Dwight Ave., Seabrook; assault and battery, domestic, dismissed due to failure of witness to appear (Amesbury).

Hilary Thompson, 23, 23 Chase Road, South Hampton; leaving scene of property damage, admission to facts, continued without finding for one year, $50 VWF (Amesbury).

NEWBURYPORT: The following cases were recorded at Newburyport District Court on Tuesday, Jan. 15, with Judge Allen Swan presiding over the jury trials.

Jessica Flanders, 25, 41 Main St., Amesbury; operating under the influence, sending electronic messages while driving, probation for one year, 60-day loss of license, ASAP counseling, $50 VWF, $250 Operating Under Intoxication fee, $50 Operating Under Intoxication Victim Fund assessment, $250 Head Injury Fund assessment (Newburyport).

Michael Jones, 42, 29 Hillcrest Ave., Beverly; operating under the influence, third offense, 18 months in house of correction, five months to be served, balance suspended for two years, credit 94 days; eight-year loss of license, $1,000 fine, $250 surfine, $250 Head Injury Fund assessment, $50 Operating Under Intoxication Victim Fund assessment, $90 VWF (Newburyport).

NEWBURYPORT: The following case was recorded at Newburyport District Court on Wednesday, Jan. 16, with Judge Peter Doyle presiding over the jury trial.

Michael Kent, 30, 2 Atlantic Ave., Amesbury; driving while under the influence of alcohol, not guilty; possession of class C drugs (anabolic steroids), dismissed at the request of the commonwealth; marked lane violation, not responsible; speeding, responsible, $150 fine (Newbury).

NEWBURYPORT: The following cases were recorded at Newburyport District Court on Wednesday, Jan. 16, with Judge Allen Swan presiding over the jury-waived trials.

Philip S. Brewster, 52, 11 North St., Apt. 3, Haverhill; driving after license suspension, guilty, 60 days in the house of correction, suspended with one year probation; uninsured vehicle, guilty, filed; driving after registration suspension, guilty, filed; crosswalk violation, responsible, filed; miscellaneous vehicle equipment violation, responsible, filed; vehicle not meeting safety standards, responsible, filed (Amesbury).

Brandon M. Bronaugh, 31, 79 Myopia Road, Quincy; driving after license suspension, dismissed; fail to stop/yield, responsible, $100 assessment (Newburyport).

Philip Ouellette, 28, 8 Cottage Road, Andover; driving while under the influence of alcohol, continued without finding and probation for one year conditioned upon completion of an alcohol treatment awareness program, 45-day loss of license, $50 VWF, $250 Operating Under Intoxication fee, $50 Operating Under Intoxication Victim Fund assessment, $250 Head Injury Fund assessment; driving after license suspension, continued without finding and probation for one year; marked lane violation, responsible, filed (Salisbury).

Ana Damiao, 29, 14 Sohier Road, Apt. 1, Beverly; unlicensed driving, guilty, $100 fine; fail to drive in the correct lane, responsible, filed (State Police).

Jacob Gauthier, 17, 65 Beach Road, Salisbury; disorderly conduct, continued without finding and probation for three months, 22 hours community service assigned in lieu of payment of penalties of $50 Victim/Witness Fund assessment and $100 court cost (Amesbury).

Keith E. Wilcox, 41, 12 Garfield St., Salisbury; larceny of less than $250, guilty, 60 days in the house of correction, committed (Amesbury).

Michael A. Jones, 42, 80 Liberty St., Danvers; leaving the scene of property damage, continued without finding and two years probation, $200 court costs, $50 VWF; $250 HIF and payment of restitution of an amount to be determined; negligent driving, continued without finding and probation for two years; marked lane violation, not responsible; no inspection sticker, not responsible (Merrmac).

Lawrence F. Smith Jr., 57, 11 First Ave., Merrimac; driving while under the influence of alcohol, guilty, one year probation conditioned upon completion of an alcohol safety awareness program, 45-day loss of license, $50 VWF, $250 OUI, $50 OUI-V, $250 HIF, and payment of restitution of an amount to be determined (Merrimac).
