Wile seeks seat on Pentucket board

WEST NEWBURY — Chris Wile pulled nomination papers yesterday for a three-year term on the Pentucket Regional School Committee. A two-year term he was elected to fill in 2011 expires in May.

Other residents circulating papers are incumbent Kimberly Cole, Board of Health, and incumbent constables Stephen Alvino, Glenn Coffin and Brian Richard.

The May 6 ballot will also fill seats on the Board of Selectmen, Board of Assessors, Park and Recreation Commission, Board of Water Commissioners, library trustees and Planning Board.

Selectman Dick Cushing announced this week he will not seek a fifth term.

The last day to obtain nomination papers from the town clerk’s office is March 7 at 5 p.m.
