Salvation Army seeks help for Day for Families

NEWBURYPORT — On Friday, April 19, at noon, the Newburyport Salvation Army will be hosting a Day for Families. It will be hosting local agencies, programs and services that are of most interest to lower- and moderate-income working families. The day will be filled with information, outreach, networking, fun, food and lots of free gifts for parents and children.

The Army is looking for programs important to the target population who want to set up an outreach table.

Prepared finger foods will also be needed for that day.

The last but not least of the needs is for help from businesses and the community at large to donate new gifts appropriate for children and families: clothing, toys, books, diapers or a gift certificate that would benefit the entire family.

To help in any way, contact Donna as soon as possible at 978-465-0883.
