'Guys and Dolls' on stage next week

GEORGETOWN — Georgetown Middle/High School will present Frank Loesser’s enduring musical comedy “Guys and Dolls” on Thursday, Feb. 7, through Saturday, Feb. 9, at 7 p.m.

The performances will take place in the GMHS auditorium, 11 Winter St. Tickets are $11 for adults and $8 for seniors, children, and students and may be purchased at the door.

“Guys and Dolls” tells the tale of Nathan Detroit, who bets fellow gambler Sky Masterson that he cannot make Miss Sarah Brown, a kind-hearted Salvation Army-type reformer, fall in love with him. The show, featuring a talented cast of over 40 students, is directed by Kerry Donovan and musically directed by Laura Laflamme.
