NEWBURYPORT: The following cases were recorded at Newburyport District Court on Wednesday, Feb. 6, with Judge Allen Swan presiding over the jury-waived trials:

Kevin Davis, 31, 3 Vine St., Apt. 2, Amesbury; negligent driving, continued without finding and probation for six months conditioned upon completion of the State Courts Against Road Rage and half-day Brains at Risk programs, $50 VWF, $200 court costs, $250 Head Injury Fund; weight violation on municipal way, not responsible (Salisbury).

Wayne R. Downs, 67, 119 Bridge Road, Salisbury; juror fail to attend, dismissed (Office of the Jury Commissioner).

Matthew D. Hood, 2 Lake Shore Drive, Amesbury; driving while under the influence of alcohol, continued without finding and probation for one year conditioned upon completion of an alcohol safety awareness program, $50 VWF, $250 HIF, $250 Operating Under Intoxication Fund, $50 Operating Under Intoxication Victim Fund assessment; marked lanes violation, responsible, filed (State Police). Assault and battery on a police officer, guilty, 90 days in the house of correction, 21 days to be and deemed served with the balance suspended and probation for one year conditioned upon remaining drug and alcohol free and completion of a Structured Outpatient Addiction Program, $50 VWF; disorderly conduct, guilty, filed; disturbing the peace, guilty, filed (Amesbury).
