NEWBURYPORT — The city’s animal control officer is seeking information on a dog he found on Plum Island Tuesday.

Matthew J. Lipinski said the female, brown and white Jack Russell terrier had no collar or tags. While it was microchipped, its information was never registered.

Anyone with information about the dog or the whereabouts of its owner is asked to call the city’s Health Department at 978-465-4410.
