Police Logs


The following item was recorded in the Newburyport police log:

Andrew P. Michaud, 24, 507 Centre St., Jamaica Plain, was issued a summons Sunday at 6:47 p.m. on charges of operating a motor vehicle in violation of license class, no inspection sticker and fail to stop/yield. Officer Michael Wilichoski issued the summons on Route 1.


The following items were recorded in the Amesbury police log:

Ryan A. Chaffee, 28, 9 Tarrytown Lane, Worcester, was issued a summons Sunday at 11:50 p.m. on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a revoked registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Officer Steven Reed issued the summons on Haverhill Road.

Jason R. Pearson, 27, 96A South Policy St., Salem, N.H., was arrested Monday at 2:49 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct, carrying a dangerous weapon, operator refusing to identify self to police, resisting arrest and threatening to commit assault and battery. Officers Reed, Charles Sciacca, Ronald Guilmette and Jonathan Morrill made the arrest on Haverhill Road.


The following item was recorded in the Salisbury police log:

Ashton C. Gorman, 19, 294 High St., No. 1, Newburyport, was issued a summons Sunday at 10:27 p.m. on a charge of person under 21 in possession of liquor. Officers Richard Dellaria, Brian Smith and John Lannon issued the summons on Beach Road.


The following items were recorded in the Newbury police log:

David S. Hertigan, 49, 14 Green Needle Lane, Rowley, was issued a summons Saturday at 10:33 p.m. on charges of allowing motor vehicle operation after revocation of registration and allowing uninsured operation of a motor vehicle. Officers John Regan and Mark Smigielski issued the summons.

Hannah L. Elnagger, 22, 47 Town Farm Road, Ipswich, was arrested Sunday at 12:57 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, marked lanes and marijuana possession. Officer John Lucey III made the arrest on Sled Road.
