The Merrimack Valley Nutrition Program is served in Amesbury, Georgetown, Groveland, Newburyport, Salisbury, Merrimac and West Newbury. Menus for Aug. 2 through Aug. 6.

All meals include low-fat milk and margarine.

Monday — Chicken grill bites, sweet and sour sauce, roasted red potatoes, stewed tomatoes with zucchini, mixed fruit, whole-wheat bread.

Tuesday — NO MEAL. Volunteer and employee appreciation day.

Wednesday — Baked fish a la Ritz, whipped potatoes, succotash, butterscotch pudding, applesauce, multi-grain bread.

Thursday — Southern-style creamed chicken quarter, dirty rice, stewed tomatoes with okra, peanut butter cookie, snowflake dinner roll.

Friday — Beef and veal sausage, peppers and onions, baked potato with sour cream, kernel corn, watermelon, fresh fruit, whole-wheat sub roll.
