The following items were recorded in the Newburyport police log:

Kimberly A. Ahern, 32, 75 Rocky Neck Ave., Gloucester, was arrested Thursday at 2:05 p.m. and charged with three counts of shoplifting. Officers Charles Eaton and Eric Andrukaitis made the arrest on Water Street.

Colby Morris, 18, 5 Storeybrooke Drive, Newburyport, was arrested Wednesday at 10:17 p.m. and charged with person under 21 in possession of alcohol. Officers Robert Vatcher, Shawn Eaton and Christopher McDonald made the arrest at Woodman Park, Crow Lane.

Edward Logan, 46, 44 West 22nd St., New York City, was issued a summons Wednesday at 11:05 p.m. on a charge of assault and battery. Officers Eaton and Richard Russo issued the summons following an incident on Spofford Street.


The following items were recorded in the Salisbury police log:

A 16-year-old juvenile was arrested Wednesday at 4:59 p.m. and charged with two previous warrants. Officer Patrick Szymkowski made the arrest on Northend Boulevard.

Jimmy Edward Smith, 45, 147 Ashworth Ave., No. 17, Hampton, N.H., was arrested Thursday at 12:24 a.m. and charged with a previous warrant. Officer Richard Dellaria and Sgt. Timothy Hunter made the arrest on Route 1.


The following item was recorded in the Seabrook police log:

Mark Christopher Evans, 31, 566 Augusta Road, Rome, Maine, was arrested Wednesday at 10:25 p.m. and charged with a bench warrant. At the same time, Steven H. Quimby II, 36, 11 Center St., No. 15, Oakland, Maine, was issued a summons on a charge of open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle. Officer Ryan Kane made the arrest on Ocean Boulevard.


The following item was recorded in the Merrimac police log:

A 16-year-old juvenile was arrested Thursday at 4:10 p.m. and charged with malicious destruction property. Sgt. David Vance made the arrest on West Parish Lane.
