Sunday Afternoon with Bald Eagles

Sunday, Feb. 24, 3:30 p.m. to dusk

Fee: $25

Meet at Newburyport’s Cashman Park Boat Launch at the end of Sally Snyder Way (off of Merrimac Street, Newburyport)

Search for Bald Eagles while learning about the field marks, bill size and shape, talons, eyes, hunting style, flight speed and altitude, their plumage and more.

The group will travel along the edge of the Merrimack River and walk on snow and unimproved trails. Dress in layers for outdoor weather including waterproof boots, wool socks, hat and gloves. Bring binoculars if you have them.
