Link House dishing up some humor for St. Patty's Day lunch

NEWBURYPORT — The John Ashford Link House will present its 11th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Luncheon Fundraiser on Friday, March 15, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Masonic Temple on Green Street.

Charlie Cullen, president of The Provident Bank, will serve as honorary chairman, dishing up his wit to lead the event’s signature good-humored roasting. Many local politicians and area notables will also be in attendance and participate in the program.

The public is welcome to attend the traditional corned beef and cabbage lunch, with a large helping of humor. Doors open at 11 a.m. Tickets are $35 each or $250 for a table of eight. All proceeds benefit the Link House and its facilities for men and women struggling with addiction. Checks should be made payable to Link House, Inc., 197 Elm St., Salisbury 01952. To reserve or purchase tickets, call Nick Costello at 978-462-2595, ext. 15, or email Bess St. Lawrence at bstlawrence@linkhouseinc.org.
