This day in history

On this day in 1781, Ebenezer Mosley was born. He moved to Newburyport in 1805 and opened a law office that soon became a very rewarding practice. Mr. Mosley was an active member of the community and he served on the school committee, was one of the original incorporators of the Institution for Savings and was a director of the Newburyport Bank.
