On April 8 local police, firefighters, town and school officials will battle the Harlem Wizards in Winnacunnet High School’s gym in a game to support the Seabrook Parent Teacher Organization. The doors open for this night of fun and sport at 6:15, with game time at 7.
Tickets purchased in advance are $8 for students and $10 for adults. Those purchased at the door will be $10 for students and $12 for adults. Tickets are available at Seabrook Elementary School and Seabrook Middle School front offices. The Seabrook Recreation Department will also be selling tickets as well as PTO members
Seabrook Middle School eighth-grade wrestler Shawn Andrews took home the second-place trophy at the New England Youth Tournament. Wrestlers from five New England states participated in the tournament held at Lowell High School.
SMS teammates also wresting in the tournament were Dylan Colpitts and Michael Dow.
The Seacoast School of Technology in Exeter will host a two-hour drop-in event for recently accepted students and their families from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3.
This year’s Accepted Student Open House will provide students and their parents with an opportunity to meet their teachers, get an introduction to the SST curriculum and learn information about college credit opportunities.
Though this event is designed primarily for recently accepted students, it is open to the public and anyone who wishes to learn more about the opportunities available at SST.
The Seacoast School of Technology is located at 40 Linden St. in Exeter. Open house guests are asked to park either on the Tuck Learning Campus or behind the former Exeter High School Annex.
