Field use meeting on Thursday

NEWBURYPORT — A field permitting meeting for anyone interested in using the city’s athletic fields for organized sports during the upcoming playing season will be held on Thursday, April 4, at 6 p.m. in the mayor’s conference room on the second floor of City Hall.

The meeting will offer a chance to submit applications, discuss questions or concerns, receive permit approvals and make field donations in person.

Those who have not already submitted an application can download one by selecting the parks web page from the department drop-down list at, then clicking on the field use application link.
