BrickHouse Fitness adds to staff

BrickHouse Fitness in Merrimac Square and its owner, certified personal trainer Beth Fahey, have welcomed two additions to the staff.

Ariana Corcoran of Haverhill is taking on an administrative role at the gym and Katelyn McNamara has joined the team in a marketing and public relations capacity. McNamara is also working on her personal trainer certification in her free time.

Provident Bank earns highest rating from BauerFinancial

The Provident Bank has once again earned the highest 5-star rating for positive performance from BauerFinancial, Inc., the nation’s bank-rating firm. The quarterly ratings were announced on March 6, and are based on Dec. 31, 2012, financial data.

BauerFinancial provides third-party, unbiased, independent bank and credit union star-ratings to help consumers select financial institutions with confidence. Using quarterly financial reports filed with federal regulators, it analyzes and compares all U.S. bank and credit union current and historical performance data. Upon completion of the analysis, a star rating is assigned based on a scale of zero to five stars, with five stars being the strongest.

The Provident Bank is a mutually owned, independent community bank established in 1828 and based in Amesbury, with full-service locations in Amesbury and Newburyport, and Exeter, Hampton, Portsmouth and Seabrook, N.H., and lending offices in Bedford and Nashua, N.H.

Susan’s Interior Plantscaping wins contract

Susan’s Interior Plantscaping, Inc. of Salisbury, a full-service greenery interior landscaping company, has been granted a multi-year contract with Portland International Jetport. Th company was awarded the contract during a three-bid process. The project seeks to promote the natural synergy of people and a green environment with the hope of creating a healthy atmosphere at the jetport and improving air quality for the public.
