NEWBURYPORT: The following cases were recorded in Newburyport District Court on Tuesday, Feb. 26, with Judge Peter Doyle presiding over the jury-waived trials.

Jeffrey A. Janvrin, 52, 12 Fair St., Newburyport; assault and battery, guilty, one year probation conditioned upon no contact with and staying away from the victims and The Grog restaurant in Newburyport, remaining drug and alcohol free, probation to be directed by the Department of Mental Health, $50 Victim/Witness Fund assessment; assault and battery, guilty, one year probation; assault and battery on a police officer, guilty, one year probation; two counts of assault, guilty, filed; disorderly conduct, guilty, filed; three counts of threat to commit crime, guilty on all three counts with the sentence of one year probation for each; resisting arrest, guilty, one year probation. All probationary conditions are the same as the first count. (Newburyport).

Marilyn P. Janvrin, 31, 46 Friend St., second floor, Amesbury; assault and battery, pre-trial probation and the case continued generally for six months conditioned up staying away from and having no avoidable contact with the victim (Amesbury).

NEWBURYPORT: The following cases were recorded in Newburyport District Court on Wednesday, Feb. 27, with Judge Peter Doyle presiding over the jury-waived trials.

Richard Stedfast, 49, 110 Wethersfield St., Rowley; driving while under the influence of alcohol (second offense), guilty, one year probation conditioned upon completion of an alcohol safety awareness program, 45-day loss of license, $50 Victim/Witness Fund assessment, $250 Operating Under Intoxication fee, $50 Operating Under Intoxication Victim Fund assessment; $250 Head Injury Fund assessment; negligent driving, dismissed; speeding in violation of special regulations, not responsible (Salisbury).

Robin Abrahams, 20, 21 Follymill Terrace, Seabrook; furnishing false name or social security number, continued without finding and probation for six months, $200 court costs and $50 VWF (State Police).

Joseph Locke, 21, 10 Lincoln Court, Amesbury; conspiracy to violate drug laws, 15 months in house of correction, credit for 144 days served; distribution of Class B drug (cocaine), sentence concurrent with above (Amesbury).
