Works of design, photography displayed at library

MERRIMAC — On display now at the Merrimac Public Library are several works by designer Elizabeth Golz Rush and photographer Tim Corbett.

Golz Rush, who applies her love of color, pattern and the challenge of balancing accuracy to design, showcases a whimsical and artful variety of media.

“I am delighted to present two aspects of my creative life that have been very special to me,” said Golz Rush in a press release. Her work has been translated into dimensional form and product in fabrics, giftware and paper. One case is also dedicated to one of her recent passions for creating fairy kits, complete with instructions. To find out more about Golz Rush, visit her website at www.elizgolzrush.com.

Corbett has transformed his long-time personal interest in photography into a serious pursuit.

“In choosing images to put forward, I favor those that invite, and then reward, further inspection,” said Corbett about his approach to composition. “For me, these pictures have a point of entry, with somewhere to go once inside.”
