---- — Mass Audubon’s Joppa Flats Education Center, located at One Plum Island Turnpike in Newburyport, is a natural history education and visitor center that is open to the public Tuesday through Sunday and Monday holidays, 8:30 to 4 p.m.

Join our experienced leaders in a search for avian activity in the Newburyport and Plum Island area. For beginners and birders of all skill levels.

FAMILY DAY AT THE BIRD BANDING STATION

Come for an exciting visit to the Joppa Flats Bird Banding Station on Parker River National Wildlife Refuge. See Mass Audubon scientists capture, measure, weigh and release migrant songbirds at a real field station. Learn about migration, habitat use and scientific research with Ben Flemer, Banding Station Manager. Open to families with children ages 6 and older. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

AFTERSCHOOL AT JOPPA: WETLAND BIRDERS
